Anglicare NSW South, West & ACT is a charity operating in the social services sector across both the ACT and NSW. The core mission of Anglicare is to break the cycle of intergenerational poverty for children, young people and families. We have a particular focus on serving vulnerable communities in the ACT and regional and rural NSW. We deliver a range of services including out-of-home care, disability support, early childhood education and care, primary health care services, disaster recovery, emergency relief and family support programs.
We are looking for a Governance Officer to provide secretariat support to our Board Committees and Advisory Groups. You would be required to assist with the preparation and distribution of meeting papers, attend meetings and take minutes. You will have a good understanding of the importance of governance in the not-for-profit sector, and be able to work with staff in improving existing governance processes and procedures within our services.

The salary range for this position is negotiable based on experience and qualifications up to $90,000 per annum (pro rated), plus 9.5% employer superannuation guarantee. Applicants will be required to undertake the psychometric profiling instrument - SafeSelectTM. Applicants must obtain a Working With Children clearance through the Office of the Children's Guardian (NSW), an ACT Working with Vulnerable People card and undergo a National Criminal History Check prior to an offer of employment.
