Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator looking to join a stable and supportive team? Anglicare (NSW South, West & ACT), is a not-for-profit organisation seeking applications for the role of Early Childhood Educator (Certificate III qualified) to work with our Toddler age group at our Calwell Early Childhood Centre, located in Calwell, ACT.

The Opportunity
As an Early Childhood Educator at Calwell Early Childhood Centre, you will play a key role in supporting the implementation and delivery of high-quality educational play-based programs for children aged between 0-5 years.
You will establish warm, nurturing relationships with each child and friendly, supportive relationships with their families while attending to children's learning and well-being throughout the day.
As an Educator, you will support and contribute to our innovative and responsive educational programs informed by the principles, practices, and outcomes of the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards. In this role, you will also assist in the operation of our service kitchen, working closely with our centre cook to support the preparation and delivery of high-quality and nutritious meals and snacks for children.
What's needed to succeed?
- ACECQA approved Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care.
- A deep commitment to children's safety and wellbeing, and an understanding of your obligations as a mandatory reporter.
- Experience working in an Early Childhood Education and Care setting, with a sound understanding of the National Quality Framework, Early Years Learning Framework, and relevant legislation and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- High level of energy, enthusiasm, and creativity, with a passion for supporting children's learning and development.
- Commitment to Anglicare's mission and values of integrity, compassion, dignity and inclusiveness.
