WHS Outreach Officer
Anglican Diocesan Services (ADS) provides corporate services to the Anglican Diocese located in NSW South, NSW West and ACT. We seek a dedicated WHS Outreach Officer to join our Risk and Compliance Directorate. This is an exciting opportunity for a workplace health and safety professional to impact operations with the following key responsibilities positively:
- Promote the development of a safety culture
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of WHS legislation, policies, and guidelines
- Advise workers and management on WHS matters and legislative requirements
- Provide training, consultation, and support for compliance with WHS standards
- Lead site visits, inspections, and safety assurance programs
- Develop and maintain WHS systems, presentation materials, and reports
What you need to succeed
- WHS qualification and/or experience
- Ability to understand, apply, and communicate WHS processes and requirements
- Experience with implementing WHS Management Systems and facilitating inspections
- Commitment to / support for the mission and purpose of the Anglican Church
