Intensive Therapeutic Care Manager
The core mission of Anglicare (NSW South, West & ACT) is to break the cycle of intergenerational poverty for children, young people and families. We have a particular focus on serving vulnerable communities in the ACT and regional, rural NSW.
Anglicare is delivering the Permanency Support Program - Intensive Therapeutic Care (ITC), as part of the significant Out of Home Care reforms in NSW. This is an exciting chance to join our team to provide trauma informed, therapeutic care for young people and their families who have experienced significant adversity. This is a real opportunity to support young people to heal, thrive and transform their futures.
We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced, flexible and creative person to join our team in Sydney.
The successful applicant will have demonstrated competency in the leadership and development of staff to meet the therapeutic care needs of children and young people as well as capacity to meet the quality and compliance requirements for the delivery of statutory care services.
Experience in working with Aboriginal young people, their families and communities is also required.
Applicants must have excellent communication skills and a current drivers license
Minimum qualifications: Degree relevant to field of employment
Preferred qualification: a graduate degree in psychology, social work or related discipline.
The salary range for this position is negotiable based on skills and experience, plus 9.5% employer superannuation guarantee. Generous salary packaging benefits are available under Anglicare's PBI status. Applicants will be required to undertake the psychometric profiling instrument and must obtain a Working With Children clearance through the Office of the Children's Guardian (NSW) or, a Working With Vulnerable People clearance through the Office of Regulatory Services (ACT) and undergo a National Criminal History Check prior to an offer of employment.
